Our Causes

Our Causes

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

Grounded in our principles, we strive to be a beacon of hope for youth across Kenya. Our holistic approach allows us to empower individuals to make a positive impact on their communities.

Youth & Adolescent Rehabilitation

We are concerned and ready to make a change not only in Kenya but in Africa. The cost of rehabilitation in Kenya is high and most of the rehabilitation centers are only focused on adult’s recovery. Using the Change group’s model, Angaza supports more youths at a very low cost .Angaza missions use Genesis process model which provides the biblical and neurochemical understanding of what causes Self-destruction and a real plan for a lasting change. We have made it happen and we are the change makers in Africa. Visit us and lets us to design a workable recovery treatment plan.

We initiate and support youth and adolescent change groups, providing them with the tools and resources they need to overcome addiction and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

We empower and train women whose husbands are struggling with addiction, helping them become catalysts for change within their families and communities.

We offer training programs for individuals working in the field of addiction, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to effectively support those in recovery.

Community Development

Fostering Inclusive Environments

The Angaza Farm Model

Angaza Missions Mosocho owns a 15-hectare piece of land where we conduct various activities aimed at community development. These include dairy farming, crop farming, and hosting a learning center for students from different parts of the world.

Our farm serves as an educational hub with demonstration plots, allowing local farmers and students to gain practical knowledge and skills in agriculture.

The crops we grow not only sustain our farm activities but also provide food to vulnerable families in Kisii and its surrounding areas. Any surplus produce is sold to support our ongoing programs.

Given Kenya’s high rate of youth unemployment, we recognize the importance of providing employment opportunities to young people.

Through the Angaza farm, we offer employment to recovering youths, either through farm work or by selling our produce. Our ultimate goal is to make these youths self-reliant after completing their recoveryprogram with Angaza.

Support For Prisoners

Angaza Missions is dedicated to supporting individuals both in and out of prison as they work to rebuild their lives. We believe in second chances and are committed to helping individuals and families break the cycle of incarceration.

We understand the challenges faced by those reentering society, which is why we provide essential items on a monthly basis and offer free psychotherapy sessions to help them through the transition.

Additionally, we have established structures to support children born in prison. Through our network of social workers, we ensure that these children are able to connect with their families once they reach the age of 4. We also assist them in enrolling in school, providing them with the opportunity for a brighter future.

Women Empowerment Program

The “Jenga Mama Jenga Jamii” program is Angaza Mission’s initiative aimed at empowering women because we firmly believe that empowering a woman is equivalent to empowering an entire community. We are committed to empowering women and creating positive change in communities.

In addition to providing support for sobriety, we also offer training to help women establish their own table banking systems, making it easier for them to access loans within their community.
